Adults who are legally blind or have significant visual impairment and can demonstrate the physical ability to work with a guide dog. We assess each applicant individually.
Dog training takes approximately 4–6 months, followed by a 2–4 week handler training program where you and your guide dog learn to work together as a team.
We strive to make our guide dogs accessible to everyone. Our programs are offered at subsidized rates, and financial assistance is available for qualified applicants.
